About
HERE COME THE GIRLS
There are very few all female sports clubs around the local area that offer opportunities for females of all ages to get involved in being active whilst offering career pathways and personal development through the means of sport.
Our club ethos ensures our members have a sense of belonging by being part of a team and a great community organisation offering opportunity to all.
If they believe, they will achieve.
Our Vision
Our vision is to continue creating a talent pool by providing age related qualified coaching to develop our players and help them realise their potential and hopefully for some, go on to play at a higher level.
We continue to train female coaches and referees with the aim to have at least 1 new qualified female coach and 1 new qualified female referee each season.
Our club philosophy and ethos is to ensure the players learn to be part of a team and are encouraged to form relationships with team mates as to avoid exclusion from a group. This then helps when the players go out into society and the community as they can then feel inspired to get involved and help other organisations or individuals in their quest.
By creating playing and volunteering opportunities within our club we can provide an escape from work, academic and peer stresses in everyday life along with building and offering a support network where people can speak to each other in a friendly, safe, social environment.
The comradery and team spirit becomes a fantastic support network for the girls to overcome challenges they may face such as making friends, confidence and developing skills (academic, sport & interpersonal). This has also been fed back by parents who have seen their children blossom under such conditions.
We also provide an inclusive environment where people can come together and socialise whilst their children are taking part in training or games. Bringing communities, neighbourhoods and individuals together from all backgrounds, races and religion to share one common interest, seeing their daughters, granddaughters, nieces, sisters, mums, grandma’s, aunties, all having fun.
